Christmas. A time to indulge. A time to be together. A time to share. To give. To receive. A time for cosy nights in. For lights and sparkle. For Christmas specials on the telly and too much food. A time to love, to reflect, and a time to be thankful.
Here at The Wise Old Owl I love everything Christmas, all the planning and preparation, the excitement of giving, of getting together and letting my hair down. I love the cosiness of winter afternoons curled up on the sofa, writing lists and checking them twice. I love the smells of spice and sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, of cakes baking on the oven and mince pies freshly warmed.
Let The Wise Old Owl take some of the strain and make your Christmas shopping a little easier – and fun too!
When I was a child at school, we always put our tree up on the first day of the Christmas holidays. We’d get home from the Carol Service and take the Christmas box down from the loft. Out would pour the tinsel and baubles. We’d check the lights and then start to decorate. Then, as an adult I started to put it up on the second Saturday before Christmas. Last year it went up on the 1st. This year….?
- bake the cake. Mmmmm!
- planning the design for this year’s gingerbread house
- try out the sparkle and magic for this year’s Christmas gift wrapping service at TWOO HQ
- making spiced apple chutney to give as gifts throughout the season
- photograph and share more Christmas gift goodies with you
Let The Wise Old Owl take the strain out of your Christmas shopping and offer to gift wrap your parcels this year. Each item can be individually wrapped in cream tissue paper, tied with baker’s twine and finished with a little wooden bauble. The bauble can be decorated at home and hung from your own tree. If you are sending your gift direct to your recipient I can add a handwritten gift tag too.
Don’t miss out! The last day to place an order with The Wise Old Owl is Monday 13th December. Orders placed after then will still be processed but I can’t be sure that the Elves will deliver in time for the big day.
